How does enrollment work?
Create and verify your account, submit the required sign-up ID, wait for approval, and complete payment. When you start the course, you will take a second live photograph of the ID itself. Course content opens after that second image is approved.
What should the second live image show?
Photograph only your government-issued photo ID. Put the entire ID in the frame and make sure the photograph, name, and details are readable. Do not photograph yourself holding the ID, and do not select an existing image from your device.
How long can an identity review take?
Please allow up to 48 hours. If it takes longer, contact support@certified4texas.com.
Do you offer the initial process-server certification course?
Not yet. Certified 4 Texas currently offers continuing education. An initial certification course is planned for the future.
What are the current steps for initial Texas certification?
The JBCC says applicants must complete an approved 7-hour course within the year before applying, submit the online application and fee, and follow the JBCC fingerprint instructions issued after the application is filed. Upload the fingerprint-service receipt as instructed. Always confirm the current requirements with the JBCC certification requirements.
What happens after continuing education?
Keep your completion certificate and follow the renewal instructions in your JBCC account. The JBCC says people already fingerprinted for JBCC do not repeat fingerprinting for renewal; a new criminal-history report is requested during renewal. See the JBCC renewal guidance.
